The firsthand witness, Michael Foday Konnie who also doubles as the victim, told the court that he recognized the accused persons and could recall the 5th July, 2019.
In his testimony, the victim stated that on that fateful day, he was at his tele-centre at No. 38 Jones Street in Lunsar Town, Marampa chiefdom in Port-Loko District between 11pm to 3am and that at around 4am he heard a loud sound on his door.

The witness disclosed to the court that the thieves later succeeded in entering his Tele center and carted away thirty-nine mobile phones belonging to customers a cash of three million and two hundred thousand Leones (Le3, 200,000).
He is reported to have made a statement at the Lunsar Police Station.
