Former Vice President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Chief Sam Sumana has signed the book of condolence in respect of Mrs Marian Admire Sesay, who passed away on Wednesday 9th December, 2020.
The Condolence Book was opened the previous Saturday at the UNIMAK Auditorium in the North-Eastern Headquaters of Makeni.
Chief Sam Sumana was in Makeni a day ahead of the ceremony to show his empathy with the bereaved family.
The late Admire Sesay is the elder sister of the former Head of State, Ernest Bai Koroma.
Several dignitaries were in attendance especially the top cream of the main opposition, the All People’s Congress.
On signing the Condolence Book, tributes to the late admire Sesay were made by the Sesay and Koroma Families.
The late Mrs Sesay is known not only as a sister of the former President, but a strong and key member of the party.
She is known to have played an important role in the party for which she would be remembered for years to come.
Some APC stalwarts said the late Admire Sesay had been a friendly personality to many people in the party.
Her Warmth and friendliness, some party stalwarts said, would linger in the minds of the people.

Mr & Mrs Sumana
The late Mrs, a senior member of the party, said Sesay had been with the main opposition, All People’s Congress regardless of any situation that befell the party.
Suffice it to say the late sister of the former President shared similar qualities with Chief Sam who has always been with the party during difficult situations.
Chief Sam has always shown love and concern to the family of his boss, former President Ernest Bai Koroma in times of sorrow.
He is always there to be with the family during any period of sorrow or loss of a loved one.
He has also extended such love to the people of Makeni, the town of his former boss, owing to regular visits he pays there.
